Standard agreements and terms of business

LM Layer & Mesh AB (Fiber Direkt) is a member of IT&Telekomföretagen and applies the industry's standard agreements in its customer relationships.

Why standard agreements?

IT&Telekomföretagen's standard agreements carry significant weight in Sweden and are often regarded as industry practice by Swedish courts. They give both parties clear, well-tested and predictable terms.

Standard agreements with GDPR provisions

When we, as the supplier, store or otherwise process personal data on behalf of a customer, where the customer is the data controller, we apply IT&Telekomföretagen's special data protection provisions together with the ordinary standard agreements.

How to access the agreements

Want to read the small print? Contact your contact person at our company or email team@fiberdirekt.se. We are happy to send the agreements in connection with a quote or contract negotiation, electronically or on paper.

Existing customers are contacted individually where necessary to update GDPR-related consents.

We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish data protection legislation. We only process data that you have provided voluntarily, or that is collected via cookies as described in the section below.

What data we process and why

We use email addresses and mobile phone numbers to send operational information, outage alerts, information about planned maintenance, changes to terms and services, and e-invoices. We do not process personal data for any purpose other than delivering and administering our services.

Legal basis

Processing is carried out mainly to perform contracts with you or your employer, to meet legal obligations such as bookkeeping, and on the basis of legitimate interest for operational information and security. Statistics cookies are set only after you have given your consent.

How long we keep data

We keep the data for as long as the customer relationship continues and for as long as we are required to keep it by law.

Web analytics: self-hosted Matomo in Sweden

You also have the right to restrict or object to our processing, to receive your data in a structured format (data portability) and to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

Contact us at gdpr@fiberdirekt.se, and we will handle your request.
